Summers are here and one of the things which parents are always rueful about is about the lack of things for their wards to do. If you live in and around Panaji here’s something you can sign up for instantly. Something to help your children understand a thing or two about art which has been drawn by children themselves.
Inner Wheel Club of Mapusa, a Women’s Service voluntary organisation, is organising a three-day art exhibition of art created by school children who have been trained over the past four months by art teacher Chaitali Morajkar, who specially took the children under her wing to teach them the finer nuances of art and painting.
With the aim to promote skills from a very young age, the exhibition hopes to inculcate habits of art, design and visual expression which will help to develop the sense of design and imagination in children. Not that children lack in imagination, but a little bit of training and shepherding never does help. The exhibition will be on till April 10, 2016 from 10 am to 7pm.
