The Monte Music Festival has evolved, from a small gathering of musicians, artistes and aficionados, to a major date on Goa's music and arts festival calendar. Now, over a decade later, the three evenings that make up the Monte Music Festival are not to be missed. Celebrating both Indian and Western classical music and the arts, people from all over the state gathered for the festival, held at the Chapel of the Mount in Old Goa. There, overlooking the river Mandovi and the islands of Divar, as well as Old Goa, people witnessed a coming together of cultures, classical music, folk music, sacred chants and even fado.Our lensmen Sagun Gawade and Narayan Pissurlenkar, visited the festival over the three days and captured some great snapshots
