The former Grey's Anatomy star is in final negotiations to star in the third instalment of the Bridget Jones's Diary romantic comedy featuring Renee Zellweger and Colin Firth. Reports suggest Dempsey's potential new character will fit into the love triangle story line following Hugh Grant's departure.
