Bookworm, Goa is all set to hold it's annual Jumble Sale 2017 on February 12 at Campal Indoor Stadium. The organisation is acception donations for the same and one can donate and new and used-but-almost-new stuff in usable connection like toys and games, music, movies, clothes, accessories, kitchen and household items, stationary, plants, furniture, book and magazines, shoes, bags, electric appliances and packaged food items. You can also volunteer to cook a dish and perishable food items should be brought on the day of the jumble sale itself. Your donations should be cleaned, repaired and sorted in cardboard boxes or plastic labels along with your name, address, contact phone number, email id (if available) and a list of contents. If you are interested you can also offer to volunteer for the event.
Funds generated from the sale will support Bookworm's Libraries in Schools program which is supporting over 1650 children and Mobile Outreach Program which is supporting over 300 children every week in providing access quality books, trained library educators and a library experience that is building readers for tomorrow.
