It’s about time that Disney reboots Beauty and the Beast, right? After all, the Lion King is coming out, Jungle Book was a hit. Why not get another fairy tale to life? This time around, there’s no animation involved. Instead Emma Watson dons Beauty’s beautiful gown and it’s a good fit. The Beast looks positively scary and the trailer gives one an adequate insight into what the movie will be all about (As if we don’t already know) Alright, alright, we’ll spare the sarcasm for those who don’t know much about the fairy tale, or the animated movie that had the mandatory Celine Dion hit song.
But, this movie is not really real life, since there are things that talk. No not humans, but other things, like salt shakers. Wait, was it a salt shaker or was it a…..okay never mind. Inanimate objects are now suddenly animated and will guide Beauty on her quest to discover more about the Beast and fall in love with the person he is inside. On another note, wouldn’t hugging him be a smelly endeavour, judging by all that fur? Too many questions?
