Horror movie fans, here’s something you may just appreciate. Squeamish readers, don’t scan the QR code. Actually, go ahead. It’ll be fun later tonight when you’re asleep. So, Incarnate is the story of a demon possessing a young child (Duh, how else would the movie begin then?). But in a twist (and possibly a slap in the face of The Exorcist), the child/demon kills the priest. So, everyone is now scared of this all-powerful demon. What will happen to the poor kid now? Enter Aaron Eckhart, everyone’s favourite district attorney/Two Face in the The Dark Knight trilogy. Aaron’s character gets rid of demons another way, using technology. It was about time that someone thought of using technology to solve every problem in the world, including exorcisms. So, he enters the young child’s mind and begins to work on the demon within. The concept is interesting and the scenes in the trailer make it more so. How will this man defeat the demon and save the child, just using his mind?
The movie Incarnate is produced by the people behind Insidious, so it’s safe to say there are expert horror film makers in the mix here. Carice Van Houten from Game of Thrones and David Mazouz from Gotham complete the main cast. Watch the trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g10LD3Xsh2Q or scan the QR code
