The Notebook stars Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams could not and would not get along. Apart from their on-screen romance, there was nothing lovey-dovey about them. According to director Nick Cassavetes, Gosling and McAdams detested each other during filming. He described a day when Gosling flat-out refused to do a scene with his co-star. “He says, ‘Would you take her out of here and bring in another actress to read off camera with me?’” Cassavetes recalled, “I said, ‘What?’ He says, ‘I can’t. I can’t do it with her.”Though they were harsh and crude with each other, they never let their personal woes affect the movie and that’s what Cassavetes is glad about.

Anne Hathaway known for her marvelous role in Les Misérables clashed with James Franco an Oscar nominated actor for his role in 127 hours. On sets, they were at each others throats all the time. Speaking on Stern’s Sirius radio show in March 2013, James referred to his 2011 Oscar co-host as a “goody-two-shoes” and refused to defend her when the DJ talked about the “Hatha-haters.” On asked about his relationship with her he confessed that the two didn’t talk much anymore.

On the sets of Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo and Juliet, 1996, both Claire Danes and Leonardo DiCaprio could not stand the sight of each other. While they may have shared some sizzling chemistry on-screen, off-screen Danes branded DiCaprio as “very immature” because of his on-set pranks. In turn, DiCaprio found her “haughty and standoffish”. Also, when the pair had a chance to work together 15 years later in “J. Edgar” ” Danes turned down the role.

The hit TV series One Tree Hill’s star couple romanced on-screen and hated each other off-screen like it’s no biggie. Before all the hating, Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray were a real-life couple. Then they decided to get married, only to divorce five months later. Rumors flew in the Hollywood scene of how Murray had cheated on Bush with his House of Wax co-star Paris Hilton. Bush spoke about this and said, “At the end of the day, we're grown-ups, and we’ll have to work with each other for another half a decade, whatever happens we’ll have to deal with it. For me, my job is my priority.”

Basically, they just do not like each and they made this fact painfully clear on every episode of American Idol where the two women sat on the same judges panel. They constantly shot looks at each other and completely refused to talk to each other. When Barbara Walters in an interview asked Mariah if she liked the song which Nicki Minaj sang which she worked on while doing the idol,

The Sex and the City BFF’s share an ugly friendship in real life. While Sarah and Kim play Carrie Bradshaw and Samantha Jones respectively in their high-profile New York City based HBO series, they are staunch enemies in real life. They clashed on the set of Sex and the City because Cattrall learned that Parker made more money than the other cast members. Sarah did acknowledge Kim's grief, but did not budge to reduce her pay. Since Kim and Sarah never reconciled their friendship, they lasted the entire series and two movies with this grudge. When interviewed Sarah about this, she admitted that there was still some tension and that “sometimes feelings get hurt” but the show has to go on.
