With a wonderful blend of backyard vegetables, fresh water fish and succulent meats interwined with traditional spices, Bengali cuisine is a treat for the senses indeed. To commemorate the Bengali New Year which will be held on April 14, Cidade de Goa is all set to give guests a taste of traditional Bengali cuisine at their Bengali Food Festival which will be held from April 14 to 17 at Café Azul. Giving a modern twist to old classics like Kochi Pathar Johol, Mochar Chop and Kosha Mangso, Cidade promises to retain the essence of the age old cooking styles in their preparations.This time around the Chicken Cutlet and Moglai Porota have been introduced for the first time. For the lavish dinner spread that is in store, guests will be welcomed with a traditional tikka, the tangy Amer Sorbor and the sweet Sandesh.
