What is life without a bit of rhyme? Lovers of poetry can catch some interesting fare at a poetry reading session being organised today, January 18 from 5 pm to 7 pm. While poetry defies boundaries linguistic boundaries, this multi-lingual poetry reading session should even help a visiting tourist find some poetry recitation in a language familiar to him or her. Guests can even recite poetry, with prior permission from the organisers of course.
The poetry reading session has been organised by the Samraat Club Panaji in order to celebrate the birth anniversary of poet, late Manoharrai Sardessai. The poetry recitation session called ‘Manohar Ugdas’ will play out at the Fomento Hall, Saraswati Madir Hall, Panaji.
The program is open to public. Those who wish to read poetry at the event must submit their names and other details to Ravindra Sulakhe (9422438366) or Pravin Sabnis (8698672080) prior to the event.
