Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales is most likely going to be the last movie. Which means the franchise ends there. Which is why Johnny Depp, reprising his role as Jack Sparrow, is going to be an emotional roller coaster.
Depp explains, during an interview, that everyone’s involvement on the script wants it to be “right and perfect.” He teases that, in Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales, the movie has a fun approach. Johnny Depp himself says that he had some inputs on the screen write, which makes his involvement a passion project. Ultimately, he says that he has high hopes for the movie. And that if the move is “really the last one, which it probably is, I feel that we owe it to the audience who went and saw the films so many times.” The actor adds that he wants to do it right and end on a high note.
Pirates of the Caribbean 5 fans are just wondering what exactly would happen to Johnny Depp’s Jack Sparrow in the upcoming movie. Slated to release on July 7, 2017, the film also has Orlando Bloom reprising once again the role of Will Turner. But eventually, it will be the fight between the main antagonist of the film, Captain Salazar and Captain Sparrow.
The storyline focuses more on Sparrow’s pursuit for Trident of Poseidon. This Trident will save the pirate captain from Salazar because it is immensely powerful and gives the owner complete control over the sea. But it is extremely difficult to obtain the Trident. And the quest for this object and fights with Salazar will be the main focus of the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean 5.
In addition, it may be the movie where Jack Sparrow dies. Going back to Depp saying that he wants to end on a high note. It may just be the ending he is referring to. It seems Jack Sparrow is going to have the fight of his life versus Captain Salazar.
