While everyone is awaiting for the release of the musical La La Land starring actors Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, the trailer of the film has already gotten people talking as it is truly magical and showcases the singing talent of the two lead actors. Jennifer Lawrence
As if her brilliant acting in the hugely popular Hunger Games movie series wasn't enough, Jennifer Lawrence truly wowed her fans when she decided to step infront of the mic for the track The Hanging Tree together with James Newton Howard for the 2014 film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay “ Part 1. The lyrics of the song were earlier written by Hunger Games author Suzanne Collins and appeared in the book Mockingjay. The track went on to top the chart in Australia, UK and the US. What many don't know however was that Jennifer nearly didn't do the song. The actress was reportedly so nervous about the whole thing as she had never sung before a crowd and had suggested that singer Lorde, who did the movie theme track (Yellow Flicker Beat) should sing it instead.
Anna Kendrick
Up until Pitch Perfect happened no one knew that this actress could sing. And now no one can remember why they thought that. In fact the actress was nominated for her first Tony in 1998 for her role as Dinah Lord in High Society. Her version Cups from Pitch Perfect which she did with a couple of cups, became a world wide phenomenon as till today aspiring singers are coming out with their own unique covers to the song. The actress has also sung for the upcoming animation movie Trolls alongside Justin Timberlake.
