Destiny’s Child
One of the first group of celebrities to hop on, the Destiny's Child took fans by surprise. Their challenge came just a few days after a mysterious Instagram page in their name made an appearance getting fans excited about whether a reunion was coming soon. While, there hasn't been any news on that front, their mannequin challenge which saw the ladies reunite after awhile did console a lot of fans. The stars got together at Kelly Rowland's son's birthday party where they filmed a still of them throwing balls and playing with toys in a children’s playroom, to the tune of Lauryn Hill's song, "Every Ghetto, Every City."
Adele
Singer Adele couldn't quite resist being a part of the online trend either. The British songstress and her bandmates gave the “mannequin challenge” their best shot while taking a break from tour rehearsals. The group rocked cowboy hats and pretended to be causing a ruckus at a Western saloon while Johnny Cash's Man in Black played in the background.
Kevin Hart
Kevin Hart posted a hilarious fitness-inspired “mannequin challenge” video which showed him and his buddies breaking a sweat in the gym in Hawaii. Hart's experession mid squat is pretty much everyone struggling in the gym.
Paul McCartney
Naturally, the tradition of completing the “mannequin challenge” to the tune of “Black Beatles” tempted the Beatles’ very own Paul McCartney to try it out. The “Can’t Buy Me Love” crooner's video saw him keeping his finger pressed to a key on his piano as he looks up to the ceiling without making one move.
Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift decided to ring in Thanksgiving by sharing her take of the epic challege on Instagram. The video sees brother Austin Swift, Todrick Hall, Lily Donaldson, Martha Hunt, Jari Haile, and Leah McCarthy alongside the singer herself doing their best frozen poses while Rae Sremmurd's "Black Beatles" blasts in the background. At the end, they all start dancing like crazy on the sand.
James Corden
As usual, James Corden made sure to deliver a winner of a video with his take on the mannequin challenge. The Late Late Show host got his entire backstage crew and guests to do the challenge and then brought it all the way to the front of house, where his full studio audience remains motionless as the camera swoops through.
Enrique Iglesias
Well, the singer himself didn't feature in the video but it sure makes it to the most awwdorable videos of all times, courtesy, his dog who was captured sprawled out in a laid back pose and remaining completely still. Either this dog is a master of this challenge or is a very still napper.
Alicia Keys
The Voice coach took a break from her radio interview for her new album Here to do the mannequin challenge. One wonders what she was doing with a toy piano though
Britney spears
This star wasn't satisfied with just one attempt in this challenge. While one video was posted showing her busting some moves with her back up dancers, she then decided to get her family involved for yet another video filmed aboard a private jet featuring her dad, her sons and some members of her team and set to Kanye West's tune Fade.
