A television reboot of Angelina Jolie's spy blockbuster Salt is in the works - with a major location twist. At the Berlin Film Festival, Sony Pictures announced development on an episodic version of the thriller that will move its setting from the US to Europe. "We want to bring it to Europe in a completely different way," Sony's Diego Suarez told Screen Daily. Recently-free spy Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) was at the centre of an assassination plot in the original movie - although it's unclear whether the TV show will follow a similar vein. No network is yet attached to the Salt reboot.
