And when they screened , Star went on to garner the highest figures in terms of TRPs. The viewers translated into huge profits for the channel, which is probably why Star has now upgraded the deal with Salman to a whopping Rs 1,000 crore giving them exclusive rights to screen the next ten Salman Khan releases - starting with Tubelight - scheduled to release during in 2017.
