Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ “Kong: Skull Island” reimagines the origin of the mythic Kong in a compelling, original adventure from director Jordan Vogt-Roberts. Featuring the biggest version of the ape that cinema has ever seen, the latest film sees Kong in full force. Set in the 1970s, the film follows the journey of scientists and soldiers who are sent on an expedition deep into a newly-discovered and yet uncharted island in the Pacific which is as beautiful as it is treacherous.
Unaware that they’re crossing into the domain of the mythic Kong, the group is led by
Tom Hiddleson joined by Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, Jing Tian, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Shea Whigham and Toby Kebbell.
As we see in the trailer, this time he’s encountering more advanced weaponry, military helicopters and more. Kong also has to face some pretty gnarly looking monsters, which will likely prove to be a problem for cast members.
Packing quite a punch the film arrives in theatres in . Scan the QR code for the trailer.
