The Housing Board area of Curtorim constituency has suddenly become the much-sought-after place for politicos of all hues. And, the reason is simple. The Housing Board is the home for 8000-strong voters, where the BJP enjoys a significant presence. The area also plays host to a sizeable Muslim vote. Wary of the fact that three-time former MLA and Independent candidate Reginaldo Lourenco may have a field day in the area, Congress and other parties are now seen in the Housing Board.
