It was a week when many eyebrows were raised in political circles over the meeting GPCC Chief Girishbab Chodankar and Leader of opposition Diggu had with NCP supremo Sharad Pawar. The NCP Chief was holidaying in the state with his family when Girishbab called on daughter Supriya, while Diggu made a courtesy call on Pawar. Both Diggu and Girish insisted there was nothing political about the meeting. However, it assumes significance given the fact NCP leader Praful Patel’s recent statement during his visit to the state on NCP going alone in 2022 Goa polls.
