Government doctors in private have a question or two for Vishwajitbab Rane “ why is the Health Minster not setting up a Covid hospital in the newly-constructed spacious block at GMC, Bambolim. This question assumes significance and comes against the backdrop of the government’s decision to make the 500-bedded South district hospital as Covid hospital. This decision only implies that the three major Covid hospitals, ESI, Margao, Ponda sub-district and now district hospital are all in South Goa. Is this just a coincidence or is there something more than meets the eye? Doctors want to know.
