Days after he set a month-end deadline on the Congress leadership to reply to his alliance offer, Goa Forward Chief Vijaibab Sardesai must be certainly hoping for an answer from AICC Goa desk in-charge Dinesh Gundu Rao. It’s unclear whether Gundu Rao has come down with a message for the Goa Forward or other like-minded parties on alliance. Sources, however, say a couple of party leaders have made a case for an alliance with like-minded parties to take the BJP head-on. Vijaibab has told his aides there’s no meeting scheduled between him and Gundu Rao. Many, however, expect Opposition leader, Digambarbab Kamat to do the talking on the alliance.
