Adani Group won the 4th edition of the Customs House Agents (CHA) Boyz cricket tournament on Sunday after beating the Goa GST team in the final played at Mormugao Port Trust (MPT) Grounds, Baina.
The chief guest for the final was the Goa State Customs Deputy Commisomer Dr Raghavendra. According to Raghoba Kotkar of Delta Group, the tournament is held every year and teams comprising of staff of the CHA companies operating at Customs House Mormugao at MPT participate in the tournament.
"This is the fourth edition of the tournament and the format is 6-overs-a-side hard tennis-ball cricket. Matches are played continuously for two days and we had 15 teams this time. The finals were played between the Adani team and Goa Sales Tax team. Adani won the match," said Kotkar.
