Goa's para-athlete sensation, Sakshi Kale, has added another gold medal to her impressive tally, winning the T-13 100-meter event in 14.47 seconds at the Delhi Para Athletics meet on Friday. She is the sole Goan para-athlete to secure gold at this event.
Kale's recent achievements underscore her remarkable talent and dedication. In February 2025, at the 23rd National Para Athletics Championships in Chennai, she clinched two gold medals in the T-12 100-meter and 200-meter races, along with a silver medal in the long jump. Furthermore, she earned a silver medal in the 100-meter event at the World Para Grand Prix in March 2025.
Expressing her gratitude, Sakshi Kale stated, "I would like to thank all the Goan people who supported me, my well-wishers, coaches, and everyone who provided financial assistance. I extend special thanks to Sudin Dhavlikar, Apoorv Dalvi, and Vedanta for their invaluable support."
