Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Khandola emerged as the overall champions of the Inter Collegiate Judo Championship 2022-23 for men organised by Goa University. Over 88 athletes from various affiliated colleges participated in eight different weight categories. PES's RSN College of Arts and Science, Farmagudi and VM Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar were declared as joint runners-up and shared the trophy.

The chief guest for the championship, Dr Francis Lobo, College Director of Physical Education and Sports, Rosary College, Navelim, and guest of honour, Mir Dias, judo coach, Sports Authority of Goa, graced the occasion and presented the medals and trophies to the winners.
