ABS Gymnasium, Chinchinim opened its new wing recently. The new wing has the provision for pilates equipment among other gym facilities.
Gym owners Prisco and Elana Sequeira have brought top of the line equipment from around world to the centrally located facility, while giving special attention to the flooring and music requirements at the new wing.
Velim MLA Felipe Neri Rodrigues, who inaugurated the new wing, said that apart from the range of health benefits of exercising close to the nature, gyms help to strengthen social bonding as people from different faith and background come together to work out. “Gyming helps in avoiding various ailments and potential fitness-related diseases that have been on the rise in the villages and cites,” said the Velim MLA.
Rodrigues inaugurated the gym in the presence of Fr Waldheim Rodriges, OMF Cap, Provincial Goa Province, Fr Jose D’Souza, Padre Pio Friary and Prisco and Elana Sequeira. Earlier, Fr Jose D’Souza blessed the new wing of ABS Gym.
