Goa's Anura Prabhu Desai who is the brand ambassador of Geno Pharmaceuticals Ltd, won the gold medal, representing Air India at 40th Inter State - Inter Zonal Junior Badminton Mixed Team Championships 2015 in Jaipur.
In the junior mixed team championship category the team of Air India won against Telangana
(3-1) which was seeded one in the tournament. In the individual category Anura reached the quarterfinals of the girls singles and the girls doubles Under-19 events.
Anura will now participate for the first time in senior international of TATA Open India International Challenge 2015 from December 9-13, in both the singles and the doubles event. In the doubles she will be partnering Shruti Mundada.
