PANAJI: Ashank Dalvi, Aarish Shaikh, Ronan Menezes Gama and Urvansh Pathak advanced to the finals of the Boys Under-11 and Boys Under-9 categories respectively at the Ulhas Jewellers – BPS Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2026 being played at the Multipurpose Stadium, Fatorda.
Organised under the aegis of the Goa Table Tennis Association and powered by Ulhas Jewellers, Ashank defeated Cladwyn Miranda 3-0, while Aarish Shaikh overcame Kedar Nair 3-1 to set up the title clash in the Under-11 category. Earlier, Ashank , Cladwyn Miranda, Kedar Nair and Aarish had advanced to the last four after overcoming Arjun Rane, Vardhan Verlekar, Ved Sanvordekar and Shiv Chopdekar respectively in the quarter-finals.
In the Boys Under-9 section, Ronan Menezes Gama entered the final with a convincing 3-0 win over Vivaan Rane, while Urvansh Pathak defeated Yajat Keni 3-1 in the other semi-final. In the U9 quarter-finals, Vivaan Rane, Ronan, Yajat Keni and Urvansh registered victories over Advith Rao, Mark D'Costa, Anshuman Lokapure and Evan D'Mello respectively to complete the semi-final line-up.
