Fatorda is gearing up to host ‘Autocross Championship Dirt 4’ 2018 to be organised by All-Goa Motor Sports Association on December 22 and 23 at the SAG ground.
Goa will have the honour of hosting the FMSCI Qualifying round on December 22 and are ready to
showcase their mettle in the qualifying round. The winners will get the opportunity to showcase their skills in Kochi. A total of Rs 1 lakh prize-money is up for grabs.
The event is an opportunity for Goan riders to test their skills against their counterparts from other parts of the country, with a great chance of exposure in front of the thousands of fans rooting for their favourite local riders, stated Sharmad Raiturkar, president of All-Goa Motor Sports Association. A total 40 teams will vie for top honours .
“The All Goa Motor Sports Association will deliver to perfection and leave no stone unturned in their preparations to host the biggest event. I am confident the motor fraternity will witness a spectacular event, ” said Raiturkar.
The venue is equipped with artificially created tracks with slush pits providing riders with a challenging trail. The presence of skilled trainers makes sure that the riders get a chance to experience the championship vehicles and feel the adrenaline rush within a safe environment. These trainers not only ensure complete safety of the riders but also help them in honing their riding skills. Day 1 FMSCI Qualifying Round will have Class 1 Stock- upto 1400cc, Class 2 stock -1400cc upto 1600cc, Class 3 stock over 1650cc, class 4 open upto 1400cc , Class 5 open 1400cc upto 1600cc, class 6 open over 1650cc , Class 7 unrestricted open Class, Ladies class.
Day 2 Auto cross: upto 1000cc , 1001 to 1300cc, 1301 to 1600cc, Petrol Indian Open, Petrol Unrestricted Class, Diesel Open Class, Ladies Class, Suv Class, Goan open class (only for Goans).
