Elffio Fernandes’ Tum Mhozo’, the audio album that won theTAG Music and Song Best Konkani Audio Album Award 2011, consists of 10beautiful love songs. The title track on the album is rendered by Lorna in hermellifluous voice. The song begins with a soothing saxophone playing andraising the bar gradually, and continues to back her with the violin alsocombining well to do justice to the lyrics. ‘Jivit Tum’ a duet by Acacio andSilvia which won the TAG Best duet Award 2011 is a meaningful track with good lyricsand good music and singing. Sonia Shirsat renders ‘Porva Nam’ with her deep voiceraising the status of the album itself to a whole new level. Acacio returns,singing ‘Rogtachim Dukham’, a track which was nominated for the TAG Best MaleSinger award. Lyricist of the album, Zemira D’Souza, renders ‘Fuddar Kitem’ ina manner that blends beautifully with the arrangement, with the saxophoneplaying a crucial part and the keyboards blending in the background softly. ‘MyAngel’ by Revlon and ‘Tum Konn Mhozo’ by Silvia also make for excellentlistening. Cajy renders another solo ‘Anvddo’, with his sensuous voice whichwas also nominated for the TAG Best Male Singer award. ‘Visorchem Nam’, set toa fast beat and rendered by Gladrin, and ‘Special Day’ by Revlon and Silvia arethe final two tracks on the album. Overall, the album is very different in manyways with music compositions that are pleasant to listen to, keeping away fromthe traditional style.
