Bodybuilding Fed Cup at Fatorda

Bodybuilding fans in the State can look forward to the best in the sport of physique shortly with the Goa Body Building and Fitness Association announcing they will organize the 6th Federation Cup 2017 for Men and Women on April 12 to 13 at Ravindra Bhavan, Fatorda rnMore than 300 athletes and 100 officials from 31 State Units and Union Territories will be participating in various categories in the event which Goa will play host for the first time.

Measuring up to the Championship will big names like Sunit Jhadav, Sumit Banerjee, Nilesh Bomble in the men section while Sanju, Harleen ,Anikita Singh and Soniya Mitra would be ones to look out for in the women’s category.

Goa will field both men and women and are expected to do perform well.

Twenty men will be selected from the event and the Indian Body Builders Federation will bear the expenses for their further training and exposure trips apart from providing them with food supplements.

Cash prizes totalling Rs 8 lakh will be on offer.
