Bosco Oratory Fatorda got the better of Verna SC 2-1 and moved into the final of the Late Pacheco Cup at Village Panchayat Ground Betalbatim on Wednesday. Don Bosco Oratory's Swizel Pereira was the star of the match and was given the man of the match award. It didn't take long for Verna to open their account with Imamsab scoring the first goal of the match within six minutes. Fifteen minutes later Fatorda's Rishakh took a long ranger which hit the inside crossbar and cooly sailed into Verna's net, levelling terms. As the match progressed in the second half, both teams worked hard to find the winning goal but the strikers were no match for each other's defensive tackles. Finally, a tricky move by Velingston D'Souza of Fatorda saw them clinch the winning goal as he outmanoeuvred a couple of Verna defenders before finding the back of the net in the 51st minute.
