Candolim Sports Club moved into the finals of Dr Maximo Menezes Memorial Soccer 2015 Inter Village Tournament organized by Goa Velha Sports Club at Goa Velha ground with a 5-3 win over Clube Sao Miguel De Taleigao via a tie-breaker.

Sao Miguel De Taleigao surged ahead before the lemon break through a strike from Jayyendra Kunkoleikar. Candolim sports club equalized in the second half of play through a goal from Sanket Jotkar.

In the penalty shootout Candolim scored through Royston Pereira, Joelif Simoes, Suraj Kathankar, Gauresh Shirodkar and Canute De Souza for Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao while Levino Pereira, Ramesh Palkar, Joylan Viegas were on target for their opposition.

ICC gives official warning to Nagpur

AGENCIES NEW DELHI The ICC has given the Jamtha Stadium in Nagpur, which hosted the third Test between India and South Africa, an official warning under its pitch monitoring process. The ICC agreed with the 'poor' rating that Jeff Crowe, the match referee, had given the pitch in his report.
