MARGAO: Candolim Veterans produced a commanding display to outclass Loutolim Veterans 4-1 in the 1st All Goa Late Alvernaz & Lalush Memorial Veterans Football Tournament 2026, organised by the Youth of Fatrade at the Varca SC Ground on Sunday.
Shankar Palekar starred for Candolim with a superb hat-trick, leading his side to a comfortable victory. Jack Colaco also got on the scoresheet, netting the fourth goal to cap a dominant performance.
Loutolim Veterans managed a solitary reply through Santan, but it proved to be only a consolation as Candolim controlled the proceedings for most of the match.
