Carlos United win tie-breaker tourney

Mangor Sports Club, Mangor-Vasco da gama organized their traditional 3-a-side All Goa tie-breaker tournament at the Club premises on occasion of Independence Day celebrations. In all 22 teams took part in the tourney and was keenly contested.

Coincidently, the winning team and the runners-up team happened to be from the same club i.e. Carlos United, Vasco. The winners were awarded a cash prize of Rs 8000 and the runner-up team received Rs.5,500. Sarvesh Naik was adjudged the best goalkeeper and Curcino Sanches was the best striker. A huge crowd cheered the participating teams.
The president,Orson Rodrigues welcomed the participants, guests and the gathering. Savio Pereira,the organizing chairman proposed the vote of thanks. Edwin Pereira compered.
