Both the teams displayed attacking football, however it was Raia Sports Club who broke the deadlock in the very 2nd minute when Llyod Cardozo punted the ball to the far corner of the net. Spurred by the success, Curtorim Gymkhana regrouped quickly and took the fight to the rival camp and their efforts bore fruit when Velson Cardozo neutralized the lead. Crossing over, Curtorim Gymkhana were a dominant lot with their forwards showed urgency and fired couple of shots against the rival citadel. Joybert Almeida who was in the thick of action pumped two goals and sealed the rival fate in the 32nd minute and at the stroke of final whistle trooped out worthy winners.
