Dr. Savio is loving and caring towards Abey and tries hislevel best to fulfill the void created by the passing away of his sister.Abey’s father (Milagres de Chandor) has still not returned back to India fromthe USA. In the meantime Abey meets with Elvis a young youth who has returnedback from America. He entices Abey in his love net. She immediately falls intohis trap not knowing that he is out to have fun and deceive her. At one pointof time enters Mabel (Bushka) who is supposedly Elvis’ girlfriend and sheclaims that she is carrying his child. But Elvis brushes her aside and absolveshimself of any wrong doing.
Director Samuel plays a negative character of ‘Gomantak’ andhe blackmails Elvis at every opportunity. What is the secret of this blackmail?Dr. Raymond (Socorro de St. Cruz), a friend of Abey’s father learns of Abey andElvis’ alliance and is taken aback. He immediately conveys the news of Abey’salliance with Elvis to Abey’s father in US.
Why does he show so much concern about this alliance? Whatis the reason for Abey’s father to be away from his only daughter for so manyyears? There is a talk of his sickness. What is he suffering from? These andmany more questions have answers as the plot opens up and comes to a logicalconclusion. The plot has an overlapping suspense element too.
The play has a fairly good comedy well-coordinated and actedby Antonette de Curtorim, Ben Evangelisto, Luis Bachchan as an ayurvedic doctorand comedian Michael. There is never a lull moment. Hazel has given a goodperformance and renders the Kantos well. There are a good number of solos, buta duet was badly missing. The stage setting is appealing and lightings are wellcoordinated.
