Former East Bengal attacking midfielder Cavin Lobo has penned a deal to join Vasco Sports Club for the upcoming GFA Professional league starting in October.
Lobo comes with an experience in Indian football where he plied his trade for major outfits like East Bengal, Sporting Clube de Goa, Churchill Brothers FC, Punjab FC on loan for both the clubs.
He has also won the (ISL) title with ATK (then Atletico de Kolkata) during his first stint at the ISL franchise (in 2014). He also played for NorthEast FC, Kerala Blasters FC and Mumbai FC.
Lobo won the Federation Cup (2012). He helped East Bengal win five Calcutta Football League (CFL) titles.
Lobo primarily operates as an attacking midfielder but is comfortable playing as a defensive midfielder or a left midfielder. He is known for his dribbling abilities and long-range strikes.
Having made a total of 82 appearances for the Red and Gold Brigade, including six matches in the prestigious AFC Cup, Lobo has played eight international matches for India, which includes seven FIFA, World Cup Qualifiers appearances in 2015 and 2016.
Earlier, Terence joined Sesa Football Academy and the two were reunited at Velsao Pale Sports Club.
