President of Navelim Sporting Club and former two-time executive member of Goa Football Association (GFA) Benedito alias Bishut Temudo died of a massive heart attack at his Colva residence on Wednesday.
Anthony Pango, vice president of Goa Football Association (South Goa) was joined by a large number of football enthusiasts on Wednesday to mourn the untimely death of Bishut Temudo and offer condolences to his bereaved family.
Pango said, “It’s a sad moment and a terrible day for Navelim village and Goa in particular. I have personally known Temudo when he was the member of GFA and seen him working hard for development of football.”
Schubert Furtado, former vice president of Goa Football Association, South Goa and former president of Navelim Sporting Club, said Temudo was the one of the pillars of strength in Navelim village.”
Others who joined in condoling the death of Temudo were Anthony Leo Fernandes, GFA, executive member, Joe Dias, president of Salcete Football Club, Arnaldo Costa, vice chairman of GFA Women Committee.
