the crossbar.

As the match progressed, Calangute keeper Sanij collected a long cross at the goal to deny Aaren from heading the ball home. Minutes later, Aaren’s header hit the Calangute’s upright and was cleared by the defender.
In the 37th minute, it was young Gaurs keeper Antonio who came up with an excellent save to thwart Daryl Costa from scoring in
a one-on-one situation after Valerio Rodrigues had done the spade work. Five minutes before the breather, Daryl’s shot at the goal was collected by keeper Antonio.
In the 86th minute, the young Gaurs broke the hearts of the large Calangute supporters when Aaren got a loose ball inside
the penalty box, but the latter after turning and twisting, passed the ball to an unmarked Nestor Dias, who made no mistake to slam the ball at the far end of the goal to make it 1-0 and give full points to his team.
