FC Siolim edged past Wilred United Sports & Cultural Club Curtorim 1-0 to emerge champions of the 18th All Goa Inter-Village Seraulim Panchayat Cup Football Tournament, organized by United Sports Club of Seraulim at the Seraulim Panchayat Ground.
FC Siolim broke the deadlock in the 21st minute when Dalesh Pednekar unleashed a powerful strike that found the back of the net. The goal proved decisive, sealing the victory for Siolim.
Wilred United fought hard to get back into the game, but Siolim’s defense held firm, denying them any clear scoring opportunities and ensuring a clean sheet.
Venzy Viegas, MLA of Benaulim Constituency, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Sima Shanke attended as Guest of Honour, along with other panch members of VP Seraulim.
