FC Tuem scored a massive 8-1 win over Bhumika Sports and CC in the Goa Football Association Third Division League at DSYA ground, Tuem, on Wednesday.
FC Tuem had total control of the game and scored at regular intervals. Sweton Rebello was the star player for the winning side as the youngster smashed in four goals for Tuem.
Sweton scored his first two goals in a span of two minutes in the first quarter.
Maxwell Furtado then added the third before Elroy Barreto netted the fourth for Tuem in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute, Sweton finally completed his hattrick. Mark Barreto made matters worse for Bhumika SCC, scoring the sixth goal just before the breather.
Crossing over, Bhumika pulled a goal back through Bablo Harmalkar. Sweton Rebello scored his fourth at the hour mark before Vishal Naik completed the rout in the 85th minute.
At Quitula ground, Siddeshwar Sports and Cultural Club came from behind to beat Sirsaim Sports & Welfare Centre 2-1. Sirsaim were first to take the lead in the 37th minute through Rohit Parsekar. However, Dattanand Devli made it all-square for Siddeshwar SCC just before the break.
In the second half, Siddeshwar managed to get the lead in the 71st minute through Sahil Bhamaikar, which proved to be enough to seal the three points.
At Chandor ground, Uguem Rising Club eased past Dramapur Sports Club 5-2. Selvin Pereira smashed four goals for the winners with Milfred Dias adding a fifth. Dramapur pulled two goals through Melcone Miranda and Mark Boges.
