Goa's two young coaches and State table tennis players, Rutuj Sonawane and Selvyn Godinho have completed the six-week NIS certification course in table tennis conducted by SAI National Institute of Sports (NIS), Patiala.
Both Rutuj and Selvyn cleared the certificate course held at Bhubaneswar with 'A Grade'. Rutuj topped the batch with 75.3 % and Selvyn secured 71.6%. Rutuj, a former junior champion, is among Goa's top men's players while Selvyn, a former State-ranked player who has attended various SGFI Nationals, is a coach at Don Bosco Oratory, Panaji.
