MARGAO: Guardian Angel SC cruised to a 3-0 victory over Fr Agnel YC Paroda, advancing to the semifinals of the 45th St. Joseph Festival football tournament, organised by Dramapur SC, at Dramapur ground, on Thursday.
Cyril Dias opened the scoring for Guardian Angel in the 28th minute, setting the tone for the match. Goals from Godwin Fernandes and Ryan in the 48th and 55th minutes respectively to seal the win. Despite strong efforts from Fr. Agnel’s Joy Fernandes and Regan Costa, the Paroda strikers were unable to find the net.
