MARGAO: Guardian Angel SC, Curchorem cruised into the quarterfinals of the Anthony Festival Cup 2026 with a commanding 5-0 victory over Raia Sporting Club at the Moll Ground, Kumsai, Assolda. The tournament is organised by St Anthony FC, Assolda.
Guardian Angel made a blistering start, with Ivo Costa opening the scoring in the second minute. Salgeo Dias then struck twice in quick succession, finding the net in the fifth and seventh minutes to put his side firmly in control.
Norman Dias added the fourth goal in the 21st minute before Ivon completed the rout with a strike in the 26th minute, sealing an emphatic win for the Curchorem outfit and a place in the last eight.
