A ten-day handball coaching camp for beginners organised by Goa Handball Academy ended at Chubby Cheeks Spring Valley HS Porvorim.
Over 30 boys and girls in the age group of 12 to 15 years attended the 10-day coaching camp.
Mahadev Parab and Saish Shirodkar, both Physical Educationist and Senior National Handball Players successfully conducted this camp. Camp was formally inaugurated by the Headmistress Selena D'souza, Camp coordinator Gauri Bhobe Nayak and Physical Education teachers of the school Jesida Fernandes and Jorinho Franco.
During the closing ceremony President of Goa Handball Academy Devendra Prabhu Desai, Organising Secretary of the Academy Shri Anant Sawal and Treasurer of the Academy Shri Ravi Rajan were present along with school headmistress and Physical education teachers.
Goa Handball Academy distributed Jerseys, handball balls and goal net to the school and President Prabhu Desai promised to conduct more such advanced training camps in the near future so that more students shine at the school level tournaments and also at the national level.
