Our Lady of Rosary High School, Mandrem, U-14 boys’ football team defeated Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim, 2-1 in the state-level finals organised by DSYA.
The first goal was scored by Preston Fernandes, while the second was netted by Jwelan Fernandes.
The first half ended 0-0.
In the second half, Preston Fernandes opened the scoring. The opponents then equalised. In the dying minutes, Jwelan Fernandes scored from inside the penalty area to seal the victory.
