The 7th All India Bhikoo Pai Angle Memorial U-15 Cricket Tournament continued to captivate cricket enthusiasts with some intense and high-scoring matches on Day 4. Team Work Sports Club, Margao Cricket Academy (MCA), Adambakkam Cricket Academy, and the Sports Authority of Goa (SAG) emerged victorious in their respective encounters, with each team displaying excellent teamwork and individual brilliance.
At the SAG Ground in Margao, Margao Cricket Academy (MCA) produced a commanding performance to defeat Panthers Cricket Club by 235 runs. After winning the toss and opting to bat, MCA posted a mammoth 304/4 in 45 overs. Pratyush Vidhu led the charge with a stunning 147 runs, supported by Kushal Satardekar's 80. Sonu Kumar remained unbeaten on 25*.
In reply, Panthers C.A. struggled to find their rhythm, collapsing to a mere 68 all out in 29.4 overs. Yash Narvekar was the standout bowler for MCA, claiming 5 wickets for 13 runs, while Svanik Lotliker picked up 2 wickets for 14 runs. The Panthers' batting line-up was undone by MCA's disciplined bowling attack.
In a low-scoring contest at Agonda Ground, Team Works Sports Club triumphed over Green Nest Sports Academy by 69 runs. Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Team Works posted 121 all out in 25.2 overs. Ayush Mestry top-scored with 45, while Tanish Kadam contributed 31. Green Nest's bowlers, Tharkesh (4-13) and Akash V. (3-15), were outstanding, restricting Team Works to a modest total.
In reply, Green Nest's batting crumbled under pressure, and they were bowled out for just 52 runs in 23.3 overs. Advaith Srinivasan was the top scorer with 15, but it was Yadnesh Bhoite (3-18), Atharva Londhe (3-2), and Aryan (2-11) who ran through Green Nest’s batting line-up, securing a comfortable victory for Team Works.
At the SAG Ground in Sanguem, Adambakkam Cricket Academy defeated B.P. Patil Cricket Academy by a convincing 10 wickets. B.P. Patil, after winning the toss and opting to bat, was bundled out for just 95 runs in 31.4 overs. Aryan Mhatre top-scored for B.P. Patil with 32 runs, while Pralhad Elumkulam was the star with the ball, taking 4 wickets for 12 runs. Saharsh also chipped in with 2 wickets for 12 runs.
In reply, Adambakkam chased down the target with ease, reaching 95/0 in just 6.5 overs. Rohit played an outstanding knock, finishing unbeaten on 65*, while Yogeshwar contributed a solid 19*. The partnership ensured a comfortable 10-wicket victory for Adambakkam.
In a thrilling encounter at Chicalim Ground, Sports Authority of Goa (SAG) edged past Just Cricket Academy by a narrow margin of 1 wicket. Just Cricket Academy, after winning the toss and opting to bat, posted 130/8 in their allotted 45 overs. Nalin Goyal (39) and Rakshan Shinde (25) were the key contributors with the bat. Mrunal Naik was the standout bowler for SAG, claiming 4 wickets for 17 runs, while Shaurya Chodankar added 2 wickets for 34 runs.
SAG’s chase was far from straightforward, but despite losing wickets at regular intervals, they managed to get across the line, finishing at 131/9 in 38.1 overs. Inshant Tivrekar top-scored with an unbeaten 52*, guiding SAG to a tense victory. Pranjal Singh (29) and Atharva Sanvordekar (27) also contributed with important runs.
