The Don Bosco teams took home the top honours across most categories at the recently concluded 3x3 Basketball Festival held at Don Bosco Fatorda.
The three-day league format tournament saw nearly 40 teams participated from across Goa compete for top honors.
In the U-12 Combined category, Don Bosco Green triumphed over Don Bosco Girls with a 5-2 victory, while Kurth Silva was named MVP for his outstanding performance. The U-14 Girls final saw Don Bosco Green defeat Don Bosco Reds 7-3, with Aanora Gracias earning the MVP award.
In the U-14 Boys final, Sonics A managed to overcome Don Bosco Green 6-4 in extra time, with Vikrant claiming the MVP honor. Don Bosco Green also triumphed in the U-16 Girls category, defeating VRVS Vasco, with Winoska being named MVP.
In the final match of the night, Don Bosco Red defeated Team Minimals 11-4 in the U-16 Boys final, capping off a successful tournament for Don Bosco teams, who showcased exceptional talent and teamwork throughout.
The awards were presented by Fr. Ralin de Souza, Rector of Don Bosco Fatorda, along with Luis Gomes and Sonali Raut of the South Goa District Basketball Association. The festival concluded with Don Bosco Fatorda teams firmly asserting their dominance in the 3x3 basketball scene.
