Panaji: The Department for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities will host the National Para Swimming Championship 2024 from October 19 to October 22, at the Campal Swimming Pool in Panaji, in collaboration with the office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities.
The classification of para swimmers will take place on October 19 from 8 am to 5:30 pm. The formal inauguration of the championship will occur on October 20 led by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, alongside Minister for Sports Govind Gaude and Minister for Empowerment of PwDs Subhash Phal Desai.
Events will continue on October 21 starting at 8 am, with the closing ceremony scheduled for October 22 at 11 am. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Minister for Sports Govind Gaude, and Minister for Empowerment of PwDs Subhash Phal Desai will be present at the closing ceremony.
