Navelim Sporting entered the finals of 34th All Goa St Anne's Inter-village Festival Soccer tournament, organised by Ponda Footballers powered by Dr Bhatikar Charitable Trust & Rising Ponda supported by SAG, at Animal Husbandry ground, Curti Ponda.
They defeated SAI Avtar Anjuna 5-4 via the tie-breaker. The match ended at goalless draw. SAI Avtar Anjuna dominated the match and Navelim Sporting was lucky when two times their defender managed to clear ball from the goalline.
In the tie-breaker, Valinton D'Silva, Aden Pereira, Nash Pereira, Ronaldo Pereira and Noah Luis scored for Navelim Sporting while Faheez Mohammad, Rohan Kamble, Kreepal Dhargadkar and Saiesh Govekar were on target for Sai Avtar Anjuna.
