The Next Gen League 3.0 delivered another thrilling day of school-level football action at The King’s School, with Fr Agnel Multipurpose High School, Verna and Regina Martyrum High School, Assolna registering victories in the U-15 girls category, while Navelim teams Rosary High School and Perpetual Succour Convent High School, shared points after a hard-fought draw in the U-17 Girls division.
In Group A, Round 2 of the U-15 Girls division, Fr Agnel Verna overcame Rosary High School, Navelim, with a strong team performance. Velanie Dias stood out with an influential display and was awarded Player of the Match.
In Group B, Regina Martyrum High School secured a win over Bethany Convent High School, Sao Jose de Areal. Erica Crasto rose to the occasion and took home the Player of the Match honours.
Meanwhile, the U-17 Girls Round 2 encounter between Rosary High School and Perpetual Succour Convent ended in a well-balanced draw. Christine Ferrao of Rosary High School impressed with her composure and leadership on the field, earning the Player of the Match title.
