Nivesh Naik emerged victorious at the Quepem, Sanguem & Dharbandora Taluka Chess Tournament 2023 organised by the Quepem Taluka Chess Association at the Government Sports Complex, Curchorem.
Nivesh was undefeated, securing a perfect score of 7 points out of 7. In the final round, he triumphed over Gaurick Chodankar to secure the championship. Tanishq Kavlekar and Urvi Bandekar finished 2nd and 3rd, respectively, with 6 points each.
